David Sachs's profile

Our Principal, David Sachs is a highly experienced litigation solicitor who works closely with clients to understand the real issues in dispute. He has worked as a litigation solicitor for more than 25 years. David’s focus is on successfully resolving matters in a timely, cost-efficient and effective manner.

David co-founded Sachs Gerace Lawyers 15 years ago with his wife, Maria Gerace, and has since built a strong litigation practice. Prior to starting his own firm, David held senior positions at the Australian Government Solicitor and Tress Cocks & Maddox. David has a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales. David was also awarded a University Blue for rowing.

David has an expert understanding of the law, which allows him to give his clients quick and precise advice without any legal jargon. David provides solutions to problems, not just an explanation of legal procedure.

David is experienced in all aspects of litigation and property law, with particular expertise in litigation, building and construction law, strata law, property law and criminal litigation. David is also experienced in ecclesiastical law.

David is also able to draft and advise on building contracts, strata by-laws, licensing agreements, commercial leases, and partnerships and joint ventures.
