SOUND AND AUDIOVISUAL TECHNICIAN in Auburn, New South Wales
Total Concept Projects Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Sound & Audiovisual Technician to join our growing team. This full-time position involves the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audiovisual systems across commercial, corporate, and retail environments.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Installing, testing, and commissioning AV systems including speakers, displays, microphones, amplifiers, projectors, and control systems
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation plans
Running and terminating cabling (audio, data, AV, control, fibre where required)
Performing onsite fault-finding and troubleshooting
Conducting maintenance and service calls for corporate clients
Working across boardrooms, meeting rooms, training rooms, and digital display environments
Ensuring all work meets WHS, industry, and company standards
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in the audiovisual or sound installation industry
Strong knowledge of commercial AV systems and components
Proven experience installing and configuring TVs, LED displays, sound systems, and AV control equipment
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues onsite
Competence with cabling, mounting, rigging, and tool usage
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients professionally
Ability to work independently and within a team
Current Australian driver’s license
Desirable (not essential):
Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, or similar control systems
White Card
Working at Heights or EWP license
