Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS). It disrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and the body. Symptoms can vary significantly from person to person but may include fatigue, blurred vision, balance problems, difficulty with coordination and mobility, and cognitive issues.
We at Concept Care were there to support Laura on her journey with MS. From helping her manage her symptoms, such as managing her medications regularly or providing help around the home when daily tasks became difficult, to regular exercising, we provided a tailored plan including regular supports from a trained carer who had knowledge and understanding of neurological conditions.
Laura took a huge step today in her recovery process, literally! Witnessing progress and growth in someone's recovery process is always inspiring. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to overcome challenges and make strides towards healing. For us, it's crucial to continue supporting and encouraging Laura as she continues her life journey. Celebrate her successes, no matter how small, and remind her of her progress and potential.
