Brahma Pullets Ready to go. in Brisbane, Queensland
Size & Growth:
While they eventually become some of the largest chickens in the world, pullets grow slowly and often do not reach full maturity until 12 months.
Egg Laying: They typically begin laying at 6–7 months. You can expect roughly 200 large brown eggs per year, with the added benefit that they are reliable winter layers.
Appearance: Pullets are easily identified by their heavily feathered legs and feet, small pea combs, and "beetle brow" (a prominent ridge over the eyes).
