We’re Apex Plumbing Services, a Sydney-based plumbing crew run by Oscar and Suzie Akin. Oscar’s been at this since 2012, and honestly, we’ve kept it simple the whole way through — turn up, tell the truth, and fix what actually needs fixing.
Most of our work is residential. Toilets especially. Repairs, replacements, new installs, leaking cisterns — if it’s wasting water or driving you mad, we’ll sort it. We also handle leaking taps, burst pipes (yes, even those winter surprises), blocked drains in kitchens, bathrooms, showers and sewers, plus hot water systems that actually suit Sydney homes, not European setups.
Sometimes a leak isn’t obvious. That’s where leak detection comes in — reports for insurance, water damage claims, the whole messy middle part. Pipe relining too, when digging everything up just feels… excessive.
We do gas fitting for ovens, heaters and fireplaces, rainwater tanks for new builds, and backflow prevention for commercial sites. Urinals as well. And water filters — the hot and cold kind you see in offices.
Truth is, Sydney properties keep us guessing. Old pipes, new builds, odd layouts. When there’s flowing water, there’s always plumbing. We’re usually nearby anyway, just getting on with it.
