The nursery Industry is a huge market and The Jungle Collective has built a strong following but our goal is to be the best, to become a truly loved brand with a passionate and loyal following. Success is also dependent on the people, the talent, the culture and we aim to constantly increase our talent pool, to build a strong culture of excellence and to go from strength to strength. Jungle 2.0 includes a number of exciting new opportunities but also fine-tuning and getting back to basics.

To date, The Jungle Collective has punched above its weight with the founders working tirelessly to drive the vision forward. But as the company has grown, the company has not kept up with recruiting talent or elevating talent in-house into more senior positions with the founders still bogged down by much of the day to day aspects of the business, often at the cost of the bigger picture. Alternatively, new projects have come at the cost to the basics.

To compliment this we are looking for a self motivated individual with great discipline to take the helm one step below the founders.



Managing the Sydney pop-up every 2nd week with a high level of attention to detail, following design guidelines, adhering to quality control. Event setups are intense, a lot of lifting and preparing. With time we may find a secondary manager so you can step away from the events and travel interstate more to conduct training and quality control for sales.
Visiting interstate sales, conducting training sessions and up holding consistency across cities.
Manager of managers- Touching base with other state managers, having weekly team meetings, setting KPIs and being available for emergencies on weekends.

Preparing and approving staff rostering for sales.
Recruiting for new staffing when vacancies occur.
Training new managers to ensure they follow the brand guidelines and procedures.
Ensuring consistency across staffing and their knowledge base.
Setting goals for staff in various departments and maximising their outcomes.

Assist with day to day operations to enable smooth running events in every city.
Analysing data and setting sales forecasts for stores.

Working closely with the founders, helping to offer great insights and will be an integral part of the decision making. Ideally, you will have some strengths that are complimentary to the founders, filling any of their weaknesses as this will help fill any voids in the business and help the company be more rounded. Financial insights and a nurturing, training/teaching disposition are two examples (of many!) that could be beneficial.
Setting sales goals and reviewing financials.

This job will be suited to you if you like a mix of working from home, running events and travelling interstate.
